On Thursday the IHSA has released the official football schedules for the 2012-13 seasons. The Regional Radio Group of stations will broadcast three high school football programs.
The Taylorville Tornadoes football team will be on Newstalk 97.3. The season will start for the Tornadoes on August 17th with the Purple and Gold Scrimmage. Here is the rest of the Tornadoes Schedule.
August 24th at Chatham Glenwood High School at 7 pm
August 31st vs. Springfield High School at 7 pm
September 7th at Rochester High School at 7 pm
September 14th vs. Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin High School at 7 pm
September 22nd at Princeton High School at 1 pm
September 28th vs. Lincoln High School (Homecoming) at 7 pm
October 5th at Jacksonville High School at 7 pm
October 12th at Springfield Lanphier High School at 7 pm
October 19th vs. Springfield Southeast High School (Senior Night) at 7 pm
This is head coach Jeb Odam's fourth year at the helm of the Tornadoes. The first four teams on the Tornadoes schedule had a combined 2011-12 record of 39-10.
