The maintenance staff in the Taylorville School District has a busy summer ahead of them as they prepare to move classrooms out of South School due to its closing. Kindergarten, first and second grade will be moving into North; third and fourth will be moved into the Memorial School System. Also the fifth grade is moving to the Junior High building so those classrooms will need to be moved as well. Superintendent Gregg Feurstenau says the move will still be a stretch but they have the space:
The last day of school for students is the 23rd and faculty will be done on the 24th. The moving process will begin shortly after.
