Police Continue Investigation into Kincaid Council Member’s Car Being Damaged

Police are continuing their investigation into the vandalizing of Kincaid Council Member Dennis R. Williams’ vehicle. On March 1 at 6:15pm, a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to 309 Willow Street in Kincaid to assist Kincaid Police with a criminal damage to property. Williams had reported someone entered his garage overnight and damaged his 2002 Chevrolet truck. Williams noticed the damage and contacted his daughter, Renee Williams. Renee then contacted Kincaid Police. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says this is a terrible situation:

With Williams being an elected board member for the village of Kincaid, the Kincaid officer requested Christian County Sheriff’s Office handle the report of the damage.

The Kincaid officer also stated that Williams had previously received a phone call from an unknown subject telling Williams he better cast the correct vote with the ongoing police and mayor issue or his vehicle would be damaged.

The 2002 Chevrolet had both the front and rear windshields busted, four sliced tires, several puncture holes in the hood, and scratch marks all the way down both sides of the vehicle.
