The Shelbyville Rams football team ended their 2017 season in Shelbyville Saturday afternoon. They were defeated in the semi-final round of the Illinois High School Association football playoffs, by Maroa-Forsyth 25 to 14.
The Rams held their own in the first half, but turnovers proved costly for them in the 2nd half, as the Trojans scored unanswered points as a result.
The game was held in windy and rainy conditions, which caused a lot of fumbles on both sides.
