HSHS and Shelbyville Football Teaming Up for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is breast cancer awareness month, and Shelbyville High School’s football team is going to be sporting pink colors to help spread awareness. This is something that the school has done for the last 7 years. Glenda Plunkett with HSHS Good Shepherd hospital says this year is special because the hospital, and the school, are teaming together to support one of the Middle School teachers.

Plunkett says that they actually researched some of the most effective ways to spread breast cancer awareness and this was one of them.

Shelbyville High School is going to be wearing pink for their game on October 5th.
